Vor Froe Tider, Burial

Danish book of hours from 1517: "Vor Froe Tider" (i.e. The Hours of Our Lady). The colophon is a bit hard to understand: "Denne tide bog er sat i Liibs [Lübs?] i land til Misen [Missen / Meissen / Candlemas ??] aff Melchiar Lotther", but we know that Melchior Lotter of Leipzig printed many reformatory / Lutheran books for Danish booksellers.

The Office of the Dead starts with a depiction of a burial close to the ossuary. The skulls are peeking out from the window to the right. There's a larger version here: Vor Froe Tider.
