Ars moriendi: Confession of sins

This highly unusual series of images shows the "Ars moriendi", i.e. the art of dying. It is divided into three times three scenes: Last rites, dying and burial.
On the first image we see the sacrament of penance. The dying person is presumably confessing his sins and appealing to Mary / Jesus.
