Enchiridion, The third commandment

Ordinatio Ecclesiastica Enchiridion, First petition

Enchiridion sive Manuale ut vocant. This is Peter Palladius' translation of Martin Luther's Enchiridion (i.e. little Catechism) from 1538. The woodcut is supposed to show the third commandment, but the Danish printer has confused it with the woodcut for the first petition (i.e. »Hallowed be thy name«). The woodcut was also used for Copenhagen's dance of death. There's a larger version here: Enchiridion, Third commandment.
