After the vaccine disaster, naturopaths were quick to satirize. The cartoon shows the laboratory being cleaned up (and a child's coffin being carried out). Dr. Altstaedt, Professor Deycke and Professor Klotz say to each other:

"A consolation in all misfortune: The children we have treated will never fall into the hands of an uneducated quack."
