La Grande Danse Macabre: Prioress and Young Woman

Hospitable woman and wet nurse Peasant woman and old woman

The Prioress and young woman printed by Garnier in Troyes after 1766. The woodcut is a copy produced by the family Oudot around 1649. In these late editions the prioress and the young woman had interchanged their places with the shepherdess and the woman with crutches. There's a larger version here: Prioress and young woman.
