La Grande Danse Macabre: Abbess and Noblewoman

Regent and knight's wife Shepherdess and crutches

The abbess and noblewoman printed by Garnier of Troyes after 1766. In fact the woodcut is a copy of the copy of the nun and witch that was produced by the family Oudot around 1649. That's why the "noblewoman" is standing with a witch's broom in her hand. There's a larger version here: Abbess and noblewoman.
