La Grande Danse Macabre: Queen and Duchess

Four musicians Regent and knight's wife

The queen and duchess printed by Garnier in Troyes after 1766. The woodcut is a copy of this copy produced by the family Oudot around 1649. At the end of the dance, Garnier uses Oudot's woodcut (i.e. the good version) for the dead queen and authority. There's a larger version here: Queen and duchess.
