Sickness, confession and burial

At the bottom of the page, a physician inspects that colour of the patient's urine (see more pictures of physicians). Evidently this doesn't help, for on the right side the patient has a visit from a priest, who is presumably acting in persona Christi as the dying man gives a deathbed confession.

In the middle, the grieving widow watches while two nuns are sewing the body into a sheet. The pallbearers are waiting at the door.
