Thielman Kerver has published a variant of Simon Vostres dance with 66 figures in Latin. The same series also exists in Dutch.
The Dutch text has been transcribed in "Noord en zuid", volume 16, pp. 11-17. I have checked the text (which of course varies between the different editions), and placed the result over each image.
The dance ends with the fool, saying: »Het is ghelijc of wijs of sot / wi moeten al in enen pot«. In English: "It is the same for the wise and the fool / we must all into one pot". This is curiously reminiscent of the dance of death in Berlin, which also ends with a fool in a pot (picture to the right).
The series is also available in a Spanish translation, but this one has never been transcribed (see external link).

Now follows Jacobinus Suigus.
The next chapter is about Jacobinus Suigus, who placed his dance at the bottom of the pages.
The previous subject was Thielman Kerver in Latin.
