Joseph Schlotthauer (1832)
chlotthauer is an extremely skilled craftsman — it's almost impossible to tell his lithographs from
Holbein's original woodcuts.
One of the few differences is that Schlotthauer likes to equip
Death with white, staring eyeballs.
Here is Death at the physician:

Death at the nun:

And Death at the senator:

Another difference is that Schlotthauer has expurgated
the fool's private parts:

These small differences show up again
when Léon Curmer copies Schlotthauer's lithographs.

Schlotthauer was copied by Curmer. They both give Death the same staring eyeballs.
